Get up, get out, and do something FUN!!!

This week my son is on spring break as most kids are, and I've been trying to come up with all these cool activities and fun things we could do together!  I suggested we go to the movies to see "Hop" but he wasn't really interested and we've already been to the park twice which he loved but I wanted to do something different & really fun!  Well, his Godmother bought him a beach pal with shovels that he's been waiting to use so he said "Let's go to the Beach"!  I wasn't really thrilled with the idea but I said okay it's your spring break and I'm just the chauffeur so we can go to the beach lol!

 

It was such a beautiful sunny day and my son was so excited to be there!  We hardly ever go to the beach, as a California native it's something that we often take for granted unfortunately.  But we had so much fun, it was relaxing and the ocean view made me feel so rejuvenated which is what I really needed.  The best part was that we got to spend quality time together and it didn't cost me a dime!!! 

 

So I encourage you to get out of the house and go do something fun!  It doesn't have to take much planning or even money, the simple things in life are usually free and you deserve to have a little fun every once in awhile.  Not only will it rejuvenate you but you'll have more energy and passion for your daily work activities.  Right after we took the above picture my son said, "Now grab your shovel & let's get back to work" lol!  Well said:)
